WhatsApp Temporarily Banning Users of Third-Party Apps Like WhatsApp Plus

Facebook's proprietary company WhatsApp has announced through a FAQ post that the company is temporarily banning accounts with third party versions such as GB WhatsApp and WhatsApp Plus (WhatsApp Plus). The user must have the official app to run the account. Be sure to back up the chat before migrating the account. Not only this, it will also tell you the steps to switch to the official app.

In the FAQ, WhatsApp did not say that these messaging apps have been developed by a third party, which is why the company could not confirm the security of these applications. This informal app violates the official app's term of service clauses.

If you receive an in-app message while using the informal app that your account has been temporarily banned, then it means that you are using the unsupported version of Whatatsapp. If you want to run your account without any problem, then you have to download the official app for WhatsApp.

WhatsApp has detailed steps to transfer Whatsapp Plus and GB WhatsApp user data to official app. In the post it is written that WhatSupports does not support the casual app, so there is no guarantee of successful transfer of chat history. The user is advised to take a backup of your chat before switching your account. If you believe that your account has been banned by mistake, in such a situation you can email the company.
